Teen Program: High 5 Tickets to the Arts

High 5 Tickets to the Arts

520 Eighth Avenue, Suite 321, New York, NY 10018
(212) 750-0555 • http://www.high5tix.org/email: info@high5tix.org

This program is dedicated to making the arts affordable for teens. Through High 5, teens ages 13 to 18 can buy $5 tickets to the best of New York City dance, music, theater and visual arts events all year round. Teens ages 13-18 or a middle school or high school student from anywhere in the world, can purchase High 5 tickets. You do not need to be from New York. You do not even need to be from the United States. But you need to be a teen. You must present proper identification when you arrive at the theater or museum. Identification can be anything proving your age or school enrollment. It can be a NYC Metro Pass, student ID, a driver's license or even a school report card.

So, in order to purchase tickets, all you need is an interest in the arts, a school ID and $5.  For every eligible High 5 teen, you are allowed one (1) non-teen (adult or child) at the same $5 discount price. However, there can never be more adults than teens in a group.  If you would like to go to an arts event as a group, use the Take 5 Program to buy 5 tickets at $5 each and get a sixth ticket free to use for a teen or adult.

If you are interested in the visual arts, tickets to museums are two for $5 every day. The program also offers theater, dance, symphonies, Hip-Hop, film and spoken work opportunities, so check out their Event Calendar for a complete listing of events: http://www.highfivetix.org/Aspx/EventsandShows/EventCalendar.aspx.

To purchase the tickets, you can do so online with a credit card or with cash at the High 5 office located at 520 8th Ave, Ste. 321, 3rd Fl. Or call, 212-750-0555 and your order can be processed over the phone during office hours.
