Mayoral Forum in East Harlem

Union Settlement and their co-sponsors AARP, STRIVE, and Hope Community are pleased to invite you to a mayoral forum on Tuesday, June 4 from 6:30-8:30 pm at El Museo del Barrio (1230 Fifth Ave, at 104th Street). The forum will focus on questions of concern to East Harlem residents and low income communities across NYC.

Candidates confirmed to attend include: former NYC councilman Sal F. Albanese, former Bronx Borough president Adolfo Carrion Jr., Gristedes grocery chain owner John A. Catsimatidis, New York comptroller John C. Liu, founder of the Doe Fund George T. McDonald and former NYC comptroller William C. Thompson, Jr.

Assistant Director and Preschool Teacher sought!

Seeking Employment?  Broadway Housing Communities is seeking an Assistant Director and a Preschool Teacher for the Dorothy Day Early Childhood Center.  The Program provides a full-day Head Start preschool program committed to providing individualized, comprehensive educational services for 3-5 year old children and their families in West Harlem.
