City Meals! (Community Service)
President Obama has declaraed Saturday, January 19th to be a National Day of Service. The Upper East Side for Change worked hard to re-elect our President. Let's support him in their volunteer effort by delivering meals to the homebound elderly with City Meals! Volunteers should wear weather appropriate clothes and comfortable shoes as deliveries are done on foot within walking distance of the meal center. For additional information, contact your host Teresa Malyshev at teresamalyshevny@gmail.com.

This blog is the opportunity for me to share those activities, events, programs, etc. which I have run across in my daily journey in order that others are enlightened. It is my hope that this blog will encourage others to post comments and share their daily information ventures as well. I'm sure there is something you have come across that someone else can benefit from. "What's On My Mind . . ." is about sharing your knowledge to benefit others. I'm sure you will be blessed in return.
